A slow movement of the sale in the property market may sometimes force you to move to another place long before the house you sell is sold. However, this situation will again present you problems since what will happen is that you will b selling in a long-distance set-up.

You will not only have a hard time negotiating with prospective buyers but also keeping and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the house. An abandoned house is obviously not a good catch for house shoppers.

But, there are actually ways in which you can make sure that the distance between you and the house will not affect the speed of its disposal. Here are tips for you to be able to sell your house quickly:

Try your best to make sure that the house is inhabited. If you have no family member or relative who can stay in the house, you may consider paying for a sitter. However, if this is disadvantageous to you, you can at least make the house appear to have dwellers. For example, you can put curtains and patio chairs to so that it will look appealing to buyers.

If you have to leave the house empty, make sure that you already have it repainted and installed with new carpets and such so that it will not look bare. You can also leave an album or a portfolio that shows that pictures if the house fully furnished.

Put burglar alarms in place. Make the necessary information to your quick response company and give the new number and location of your new place.

Make use of timed lights that can go off in a certain period when set. This adds to the gaiety of the house.

Always keep the grass in the lawns short and pay for the maintenance of the garden. These features affect greatly the impression of buyers.

Put on hold or cut of your subscription with newspapers or magazines.

Reread your policy to make sure that even though you are not already living in that house, it will still be covered in your policy.

Be vigilant with the information given to you by your agent. Always get updates from him and ask for the comments and remarks made by those how looked at the house so that you have time to correct such mistakes and make necessary improvements.
